Yarn Dyeing Process Flow Chart

Yarn dyeing is the special types of dyeing process. Yarns are dyed in package form or hank form by yarn dyeing process. It is slightly different from woven or knit dyeing.

Below we are explaining the general process of yarn dyeing with details breakdown.

Process Flow Chart of Yarn Dyeing in Yarn Dyeing Floor:

 

Gray Yarn

Soft Winding

Batch Loading

Scouring/bleaching

(100˚C×30 min. = Scouring

     105˚C×30 min. = Bleaching)

(Recipe: Bluefairy – 1.2g/l

Caustic Soda – 1g/l

H2O2 – 3g/l)

Drain

Rinse

Drain

Neutralization with acid (50°C ×20 min)

Hot Wash with peroxide killer (70˚C,20 min.)

Drain

Dyeing

Leveling agent & Salt (60° × 20 min; PH=6)

[For deep Shade, Salt is given after 5 min. from giving leveling agent]

Color dosing (60°C×30 min.)

Run time = 10 min. (60°C)

Color migration

(90°C × 20 min.= Light Shade

  70°C × 20 min.= Deep Shade)

Cooling (60°C)

Level Check

Soda dosing (60°C×30 min.,pH=11)

[For Turkish color – 3 times soda dosing,10 min per dosing]

Dyeing run

(Dark-60°C×60 min;

Medium-60°C×40 min;

Light-60°C× 30 min)

Dyeing sample check

(If Ok)

Drain

After-treatment

Rinse (with cold Water)

Neutralization after dyeing with acetic acid (50°C ×20 min,pH=6)

Hot Wash (60˚C,20 min.)

Drain

Soaping (Hot wash)

Drain

Rinse

Fixing [Check Fastness]

Add finishing chemical(Mainly Softener)

Drain

Unload

Hard Winding
